Preparing and Delivering an Effective Lecture

Abstract

The article touches upon the problem of the most effective ways of preparing and delivering university lectures. Establishing learning goals, accurate timing and structuring,cutting down the amount of material, outlining the lecture notes,careful choice of examples and lecturer’s flexibility are considered. The research focuses on the major stages of presenting a lecture, the peculiarities of the students’ effective attention and engaging students through active learning practices.
