The Peculiarities of the Use of Mind Maps by Young Learners at the “I Explore the World” Lessons

Abstract

The theses highlight the peculiarities of using mind maps in primary school during the “I Explore the World” lessons. The authors analyze the educational potential of mind maps as an innovative technology for visualizing, structuring, and organizing information. Particular attention is paid to their role in developing pupils’ cognitive activity, critical thinking, memory, creativity, and environmental competence. The paper emphasizes the effectiveness of mind maps at different stages of the lesson and substantiates their importance for increasing pupils’ motivation and improving learning outcomes.
