Use of lectures-excursions in the training of culture and art specialists in universities

Abstract

The article examines the advantages and significance of lecture-excursions in the education of culture and art specialists, from direct acquaintance with cultural objects and professionals to the promotion of interdisciplinary learning and critical thinking skills. The author emphasizes that lectures-excursions are popular in art education due to their compliance with modern educational principles, their role in preserving and popularizing culture, and promoting global awareness of students. Their use in the universities of Ukraine is extremely relevant for the preservation of cultural heritage, education of national identity, development of cultural diplomacy, stimulation of economic development, support of education reform and promotion of European integration. The author cites examples of how lectures-excursions are included in the educational process at T.H. Shevchenko National University «Chernihiv Colehium» in the preparation of specialists in the following specialties: Music; Fine arts, decorative art, restoration; Socio-cultural event management.
